1. What this notice covers
This Cookie and storage notice explains how 1591011 B.C. LTD, trading as OneProp, uses cookies and similar technologies on https://oneprop.shop (the “Site”). It should be read with the Privacy policy and Terms of use.
A cookie is a small text file that a website may write to your device. Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, indexed databases, pixels, tags, and software development kits. This notice describes what this origin uses today and what we will do if that changes.
We do not currently set third-party advertising or analytics cookies on the Site. We do not load Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager (for ads), Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Twitter/X Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Hotjar, Mixpanel, Segment, Cookiebot, or OneTrust on this Site. We therefore do not show a consent banner for non-essential cookies, because we are not dropping them. If that changes, we will update this page and, where law requires (including ePrivacy / PECR and GDPR), obtain consent before non-essential cookies run.
2. Types of storage
Industry notices usually group cookies as follows. We use this taxonomy so that, if we add cookies, the table stays comparable to other technology vendors:
- Strictly necessary — required to deliver the page you requested, keep it secure, or remember a choice you make that is essential to the service (for example storing a theme so the page does not flash the wrong colours). These do not require consent in most EEA/UK interpretations when they are limited to what you asked for.
- Preferences — remember settings that are not strictly required. Our theme key is treated as a preference stored locally rather than as a third-party cookie.
- Analytics — measure visits. We do not use these on the Site today.
- Marketing — track users across sites for advertising. We do not use these on the Site today.
First-party storage is set by oneprop.shop. Third-party storage is set by another domain. Session cookies expire when you close the browser. Persistent cookies last until their expiry or you delete them. localStorage persists until you clear site data and is not sent automatically on every HTTP request (unlike cookies).
3. What we use today
The following first-party storage is used on the public marketing Site:
| Name | Type | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| oneprop-theme | localStorage | Preference / strictly necessary for display | Stores “dark” or “light” so the Site matches your last choice. Default is dark if you have not chosen. Not used for advertising. Not sent to our servers as a cookie. | Until you clear site data or change theme |
| Form POST /api/lead | Same-origin request (not a cookie) | Strictly necessary to deliver the enquiry | Sends name, work email, firm, notes, and similar fields to admin@oneprop.shop. No advertising pixels. | Request only; a copy is retained in email as described in the Privacy policy |
| Host / CDN request logs | Server log (not a browser cookie) | Strictly necessary / security | IP address, user agent, URL, time, TLS metadata — used to deliver the page and investigate abuse. See Privacy policy. | Typically up to 90 days |
| Possible load-balancer or TLS cookies | First-party cookie (if the host sets one) | Strictly necessary | Some CDNs set a short-lived cookie to route HTTPS or absorb attacks. If present, it is not used for advertising. We will name it here if we detect a stable cookie name. | Session or as set by the host |
Forms also use a hidden honeypot field company_website. That is an HTML field, not a cookie. If it is filled, the script treats the submission as spam and does not store it.
Form scripts keep a data-last timestamp on the form element in the page DOM to slow repeat submits. That value is not written to localStorage and disappears when you leave the page.
4. Fonts and hosting
The Site stylesheets request fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com) when your browser loads the page. Your browser makes that request; Google may see your IP address and user agent under Google’s terms. We do not set a Google advertising cookie. If you block that domain, text still renders using system fallbacks.
The Site is served from our static host and any CDN in front of it. Delivery of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and images necessarily involves those providers as processors for hosting, as described in the Privacy policy.
5. Licensed software
After you sign an Order, the operator CRM, trader portal, Platform5, TradeHub, and APIs may use session cookies, secure cookies, localStorage tokens, or equivalent credentials to keep you logged in, remember desk filters, and protect against cross-site request forgery. Those are essential to the product you asked us to run. They are not used on this public marketing Site.
Product cookies will be described in tenant documentation and in any DPA. Third-Party Services you enable (KYC widgets, payment iframes, trading terminals) may set their own cookies inside those frames. Those cookies are governed by the third party’s notice. You must configure and disclose them to your End Users.
6. How you can control storage
You can:
- Change theme with the control in the header (writes oneprop-theme).
- Clear cookies and site data for oneprop.shop in your browser settings. That deletes localStorage keys for this origin, including lead drafts.
- Use private / incognito mode, which typically drops localStorage when the window closes.
- Block third-party cookies globally. That does not change this Site’s behaviour today, because we do not set them.
- Block or restrict Google Fonts via a content blocker; layout will still work.
Illustrative browser paths (labels vary by version):
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Delete browsing data / Cookies and other site data.
- Safari: Settings → Safari → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data.
Blocking all storage may reset theme on every visit and will drop local lead drafts. It will not stop ordinary HTTPS logs at the host.
7. Do Not Track and GPC
There is no single industry standard for Do Not Track (DNT). The Site does not alter its (already pixel-free) behaviour based on a DNT header. If we later add optional analytics, we will honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a sale/sharing opt-out where US state law requires, and we will describe that here.
8. Legal bases
Where GDPR applies, strictly necessary storage is processed under legitimate interests in delivering a functional, secure Site, or as needed to take steps at your request (completing a form). Preference storage for theme is a limited legitimate interest in not flashing the wrong colour scheme. We do not currently rely on consent for cookies because we do not set non-essential cookies. If we add analytics or marketing cookies, consent will be the basis unless a narrow exception applies.
9. If we add cookies later
If we connect a form backend, status widget, analytics, chat, or advertising tag, this page will list each cookie or storage key, its provider, purpose, category, and duration before or at the time it is deployed. We will distinguish essential, preference, analytics, and marketing categories. Non-essential cookies will not run until you opt in where law requires. You will be able to change your mind through a “manage preferences” control.
We will not silently convert this Site into a tracking surface. A change of that kind is a material privacy change and will also be noted in the Privacy policy.
10. Updates
We may update this notice to reflect technology or legal changes. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page will change. Questions: admin@oneprop.shop.
